Mine It Down is an incremental game about mining an evil wall inspired by other games like (the) Gnorp Apologue and Tower Wizard.

Chip away at the wall with the mouse first to then hire masons to work that rock and build different buildings to grow your rock-destroying arsenal.

Mine It Down is currently in development, this demo being the first released. I plan to get this game on Steam and for that I would really appreciate your feedback, please write a comment down or send me an email at TopitoGamesContact@gmail.com with your thoughts after playing.

It is a good game but needs some work with the UI and UX

When you hover over an Upgrade there is a text showing what that upgrade does, but the text appear like below the "floor". It would be nice to have it explained in a box right next to the upgrade. Also, that text disappears if the player is too zoomed in

You can add some little icons next to the Upgrades that requires the "gold" so it indicates that it requires that thing in order to be purchased, otherwise it is just a number that means nothing

It would be nice to have some numbers showing how much upgrades like "Haste" are increasing the speed. Like +25%, +50%.

The inside of the boxes that appear when hovering over a building should be filled with the same color as the background and put in front of all other sprites/game objects, this way buildings like the house wont appear obstructing that box

I noticed that if you use the mouse wheel in the House Upgrade you can buy a ton of it, like it is registering the wheel input to buy the upgrade

Would be nice to have a way of seeing what each upgrade does, because a lot of them are unclear at what they do.

I also died to lag.  I wasn't able to unlock whatever the last building is.  Perhaps combining the chips in the falling animation would help?  Also, knowing how many chips are in the pile vs how many the masons are carrying would be beneficial.

Great job!

At this point my game was to laggy, i did a refresh on the page but the progress was not saved xD But you have a very fun game here! congrats! keep updating it, some day i will break the wall

so i got through the first wall and i have a big pile but i cant figure out how to get the money to buy a house?

I believe you need to hire Masons on the right-most building to collect the rock chips and turn them into cash

Can't seem to purchase a mason as they cost $2 and you only have $1. Seems like you are soft locked from the start.

you start with 1 population and first mason costs nothing, the house costs 2

Assumed I'd need a house to have a population. Now i see the add mason option. Thanks for the reply.
